Plan a Campaign

Produces a complete campaign brief — a bounded, time-boxed campaign defined end to end, from objective and audience through offer, channels, timeline, and how it will be measured.

01 What it does

What it does

Turns a marketing occasion into a fully specified campaign brief, capturing the frame — occasion, objective, offer, timeframe, and budget — through a guided conversation before committing anything to paper.

Defines the campaign end to end: its objective and the KPI that will judge it, the audience it targets, the offer or hook at its centre, the messaging angle, the channel plan, the timeline, the deliverables it needs, and exactly how success will be measured.

Supports distinct brief types tuned to different go-to-market shapes — for example a dealer or channel campaign, a retail campaign, and a brand campaign — so the brief fits the kind of push being run.

Anchors the campaign in the client's existing strategy and standing plan where they exist, so a campaign serves a deliberate move rather than running as a one-off, and records it in a maintained campaign index.

02 What it produces

Produces

A campaign brief covering objective, KPI, audience, offer, messaging, channels, timeline, deliverables, and measurement

A refreshed campaign index linking each campaign to its theme

03 Example

Example

A retailer wants to run a seasonal promotion but has only a rough idea. The skill walks through the occasion and goals, then produces a complete brief — the offer, the audience, the channel sequence, the timeline, and the KPI it will be judged on — that the team can hand straight to execution.
