Map Team Jobs-to-be-Done

Surveys a client's GTM organisation to map each role's Jobs-to-be-Done and surface the process gaps and hand-off failures between them.

01 What it does

What it does

Interviews the marketing team and surrounding stakeholders to build a clear picture of how the go-to-market organisation actually works. For every role it captures what that person takes in, what they produce, and who they hand it to next.

Applies the well-established Jobs-to-be-Done lens — a widely used industry framework for understanding what each role is really hired to accomplish — to the team itself, treating each function as a job with defined inputs and outputs.

Cross-references the survey against any existing org charts, role descriptions, RACI documents, and team-call records already on hand, then pinpoints where work stalls: the genuine process gaps and the hand-offs that quietly fail between roles.

Records a distinct finding for each real gap it identifies, so the breakdowns become trackable items the rest of the planning loop can act on rather than anecdotes lost in conversation.

03 Example

Example

A growing company suspects its marketing output keeps stalling but cannot say where. The skill surveys the team, maps each role's job, and reveals that campaign briefs routinely die in the gap between strategy and production because no one owns the hand-off — producing a documented finding the team can finally fix.
